In-Content Ad Unit

TargetVideo’s in-content ad unit allows publishers to place their ads in the heart of editorial content. This ad format lets you serve video ads on pages without video content to introduce additional monetization opportunities. These ads blend in perfectly with the rest of your page and are an excellent addition to your advertising arsenal across all devices.

Publishers can embed in-content outstream units anywhere on a web page. The way these units work is simple — once the users scroll down to where the unit was embedded, the ad will appear and play.

Here’s how in-content outstream units behave in different scenarios:
When the player is 0% visible — The unit is loaded on the web page but the player does not appear until users scroll down to where you embedded it.
When the player is <50% visible — The ad unit loads, but the ad doesn’t play until at least 50% of it is visible.

When the player is >50% visible — The ad plays once the majority of the player is in the user’s view.

When the player is <50% visible after a user scrolls past — The ad will automatically pause once it leaves the user’s view. If the user scrolls back up, the ad will continue playing once it enters their view again. If the ad fully finishes playing, the player will disappear once again. Users are free to interact with these ads at any point during playback, including pausing or unmuting them.
